Meredith Lindsey Resigns from Mansfield Town Council [Video]
The board recognized Lindsey for her service at its meeting Tuesday.
Mansfield Town Council Member Meredith Lindsey (R) has resigned.
Lindsey's departure comes as a result of her decision to move with her family to Minnesota.
"We will miss her," Mansfield Mayor Elizabeth Paterson said at Tuesday's town council meeting.

Lindsey has served on the council for three years.
"I thank you all," Lindsey said. "This has been a wonderful, wonderful experience."

David Freudmann was appointed Tuesday to serve as Lindsey's replacement on the council.
