University of Connecticut Health Center researchers are developing stem cell therapies to repair joint cartilage. Associate professor Caroline Dealy discusses the process for developing these stem cell therapies, and the future commercialization of the research.

And while Dealy’s work predates Bioscience Connecticut, it is an example of the type of job-creating and cure-promoting project that will flourish under the new state-sponsored initiative.
