Full Gael will play from 2 to 4 p.m. this Saturday, December 22, at Moe’s Southwest Grill located at 1 Dog Lane, Suite 101. The music is free, and the public is invited to make a day of it and explore all of the new shops and restaurants now open at Storrs Center.
Connecticut based Full Gael performs traditional Irish music, including a variety of jigs, reels, and songs, from Irish, Scottish and American traditions as well as the Canadian Maritime provinces. The band includes Will O'Hare (flute, whistles, vocals), Gary Palmer (guitar and vocals), and Ben Gagliardi (concertina, whistles, vocals). The group has performed throughout Southern New England and at many venues and festivals in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island, including the South Street Seaport in NYC, Old Sturbridge Village, Jane Goodall Institute's Roots and Shoots Festival, Wind on the Bay Festival, and the Portsmouth (RI) Art Festival.
