Saturday, March 31 marked the opening of the store’s 3rd year. Though the weather was not very Spring like, the store was crowded with customers who came to visit their new showroom, enjoy the beauty of their overflowing greenhouse and of course share in the fun events that the store had planned. There were baby chicks to hold, free face painting, a free kids craft, and many delicious samples to try.
The Connecticut Country Store in Coventry is a Mansfield family-owned greenhouse and garden center. Their store contains locally made art, pottery, soaps, grass fed beef, free range eggs, American made toys, mulch, and much, much, more!
The mission of the store’s owners, John and Crissie, is to encourage sustainable living in their community and offer fresh food, flowers, and unique gifts from local farmers and artists.
The store is open 7 days a week. Monday through Friday 9am-6pm, Saturday 9-4pm and Sunday 10-2pm.
