It's Book Time with Ronald McDonald at the Willimantic Public Library!

Ronald McDonald teaches children about the importance of reading during “It’s Book Time with Ronald McDonald!” show to be held at 6:00 p.m. on June 17 at the Willimantic Public Library located on 905 Main Street in Willimantic, Connecticut.  “It’s Book Time with Ronald McDonald!” is a magical afternoon of music and games.  During this free, 35-minute program, children will help Ronald McDonald as he teaches them about the enjoyment that comes from the magic of books and introduces them to “book time,” the time we set aside each day to read. “Stoogie,” a sock-puppet bookworm, will also share his excitement for reading and talk to the children about visiting the library and taking care of books.  “It’s Book Time with Ronald McDonald” has the full endorsement of Get Caught Reading! a leading, national reading campaign.  The program is sponsored by the Connecticut and Western Massachusetts McDonald’s Owner/Operator Association.
