To give you an idea what the Lions do with the money raised – in addition to National and International charities, emergency assistance and eye research –some of those they donate to locally include, a transitional home for Veterans, the local schools (multiple programs and scholarships), Little League, a camp for kids with cancer, Boy & Girl Scouts, Brownies and Cub Scouts, multiple food & fuel banks, soup kitchens, WAIM, Special Olympics and a women’s shelter.
