You pass by them everyday. With no leaves adorning them, it's easy to pay no notice. But, if you just slow down a bit, the post-winter trees boast their impressive and unique branches to passersby.
You've probably colored hundreds of trees throughout your childhood - green, fluffy tops and brown straight trunks. But, take a walk around Storrs and you'll see the great variety in shape and color of a few of the roughly 100,000 tree species on this planet.
