UConn’s Community School of the Arts (CSA) is hosting its Annual Pottery Fair from 11:30am to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 21. This event, which raises funds for art and music scholarships, will be held at the Depot campus in Storrs. Admission to the annual Pottery Fair is free, but pottery handmade by professional potters, students, faculty, and friends of the CSA will be for sale. Funds raised from the pottery sale go towards the Community School of the Arts Scholarship and General Support fund.
The Pottery Fair will include food, music, games and more for the whole family to enjoy. Fair goers can try their hand on the pottery wheel, have a henna design painted on their hand, toss a water balloon and relax in the shade with a hot dog and some chips and listen to CSA faculty and staff perform live jazz music.
Contact Eva Davies, program Coordinator at 860-486-1073 for more information, if you’d like to volunteer for the fair or make a donation to the scholarship fund.
