Scenes, Songs, and Monologues 2012

The Eastern Performing Arts Department Theatre Program and Drama Society are proud to present Scenes, Songs, and Monologues 2012, a compilation of short works performed by Juniors and Seniors in our Theatre program as a preview of their show to be presented as part of the CSU NYC Showcase of Student Talent. As described by mentor/director Jerry Winters, Adjunct Professor of Theatre/Acting and Directing, “The selections come from both contemporary and classical texts, including Shakespeare, Moliere, Arthur Miller, as well as the hit Broadway musical, Next to Normal. The students have been working on these ‘audition pieces’ all semester, and this performance is their culminating project.”

Scenes, Songs, and Monologues 2012 will be presented April 26 - 29, 2012 (Thursday- Saturday at 7:30pm; Sunday at 4:00pm) in the Harry Hope Theatre (Shafer Hall ground floor; corner of High and Valley Streets, Willimantic, CT). The ticket prices are $5 for Students and groups of 10 or more; $10 for Eastern faculty, staff, alumni, and Senior Citizens; and $12 for general public.
