Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! No little kid! Only one solo singer, and he’s a lounge singer! Two, count ‘em two, dance teams (both fabulous). And a band!! A pop band fronted by the 21st century version of Little Orphan Annie! I. Am. So. Happy!!!!!

Parenthood, 10 p.m., NBC

The networks will begin rolling out the season premieres in force next week, but we will be getting a few this week, including the return of this critically beloved but ratings-challenged drama. I don’t watch this, because I used to dedicate Tuesdays to The Good Wife, but that is moving this season, so maybe this will do better. Friends who watch it adore it, so it is worth checking out.

Ringer, 9 p.m., The CW

Much has been made of the return of Sarah Michelle Geller to the small screen (Buffy fans, rejoice!). I was never a Buffy fan. And this show is no Buffy. In fact, I have been unable to figure out exactly what this show is, despite my deep research into the grocery store magazine racks. Here’s the synopsis: “Fearing for her life after witnessing a murder, Bridget Kelly secretly flees to New York to see her estranged twin sister, Siobhan; after Siobhan disappears, Bridget assumes her identity.” It kind of sounds like Fox’s huge flop of last season, Lone Star, which I and I alone loved, and that lasted two whole episodes. I think.
