Mansfield CSA Accepting New Applications for 2013
Thinking about joining a CSA this year? Mansfield's Shundahai Farm is now accepting new applications for new members. Enjoy fresh, local, organic produce and support a local farming family.
Shundahai Farm is accepting new members into their CSA for 2013.
If you are interested you should act quickly as they fill up quickly and they are usually full by March. After a very successful year last year they are expanding the CSA slightly to accommodate more members. I have done previous posts on Shundahai and they were also been featured in the Hartford Courant last year. You can fill out the membership application electronically and mail your deposit to reserve your space. The only cost now is $50 to reserve your space with the balance due by May 1st.
If you are unfamiliar with a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Shundahai’ s website is a great source of information on CSA’s and on their methods of organic farming as well as link to Raluca’ s blog which is a must read.
If you made a resolution this year to eat organic, healthier and local, this is an excellent option for Mansfield area residents. Shundahai is located on Maple Road in Storrs.
