Clothing Store Coming to Storrs Center

A new clothing and accessories store is scheduled to open in Storrs Center on Friday, Aug. 23.

It's called oneTribe and it features brand names like Billabong, O’Neill, Quiksilver and Roxy, according to a news release.

“Opening a new store in Storrs Center is a big move for me, but one that promises to be fantastic!," Sandra J. Calvo-Rouette, proprietor of oneTribe, said in a prepared statement.

The store will open daily, except Mondays, according to a news release.

Howard Kaufman, Storrs Center developer and managing member of LeylandAlliance, LLC, said he was "excited" to see a clothing store come to Storrs Center.

"Their commitment to clothing that is attractive to a wide range of ages and lifestyles will benefit Mansfield residents and visitors enjoying the true college town atmosphere now taking hold in Storrs," Kaufman said in a prepared statement.
