1. Is there an advantage to digital technology?

"Digital capacity allows for lower patient radiation dose and quick turnaround time on exam reporting."

2. Is there an advantage with a larger imaging center?

"It's convenient for people to have a one-stop shop for any type of body imaging they may need, and to have the staff to provide it with accuracy and diligence.”

3. What are two important markets right now?

"Open magnetic resonance imaging - MRI - and women’s health."

4. What is the key to a successful facility?

"To provide a calm atmosphere in which patients or family members can receive quick relief from built-up anxiety."

5. Are there any other significant technology advances out there?

"Other technologically advanced features include the Picture Archiving and Communications System, which allows for fast image access for referring physicians and safe and long-term storage of patient exams that can be transferred, if necessary, to secondary physicians. Patient information is usually transferred through secured Internet access or burning information to CDs, which are all password protected."
