1. How did the band get together?

A bunch of us were playing in the Trinity Covenant Church worship band, and we decided to take some of our music that we loved and grew up with out on the road. I’m a writer so I started taking some old songs that I had put together and we started working on making them what they are.

2. How long have you been together?

We’ve been together about 11 years.

3. How would you describe your sound and your message?

People have compared us to everything from Tom Petty to Lynyrd Skynyrd.  We just do what we’ve been doing. I’ve got a style of guitar playing that I got years ago studying other groups from the '60s and '70s and that sort of thing. Everybody brings along their own style. You can probably call us somewhere between Fleetwood Mac and Cream.

4. What kind of gigs are you playing?

We do a lot of different stuff. We were doing a lot of coffee houses and churches, but it got to be that we were a little too loud for that type of venue. We adjusted ourselves to doing outdoor concerts. We’ve played the Brian Aselton Memorial Run in East Hartford. We’ve been playing that for about six or seven years. We also do a couple of the JesusFests, a lot of different types of venues.

5. Where do you want to take the band in the next five years?

We’re all married, except for Jaime, our vocalist. We’re parents and grandparents. We’re very committed to what we do at our church, too. I would say we’re just staying local in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York like we have. We try to do stuff like benefit concerts, charities. We’ve done some stuff for Cornerstone in Rockville. We’d like to keep continuing on that line of work.
