'Hunt' for Holiday Deals in Mansfield

Locally-owned businesses are participating in a scavenger hunt for Mansfield shoppers.

Mansfield retailers are hoping to attract more holiday shoppers with a local scavenger hunt.

More than a dozen local businesses are participating in the scavenger hunt as part of Local First Mansfield, a campaign fostered by the town and Mansfield Downtown Partnership to promote local businesses.

“The Local First Mansfield program grew from discussions of ways to help our smaller businesses,” said Town Manager Matthew Hart in a prepared statement. “The goal of the program is to raise awareness of the many different businesses here in town and to encourage residents to shop local for quality goods and services.”
