Mansfield Big Y, American Red Cross to Support Hurricane Sandy Victims

All Big Y locations throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut are working to support those affected by the violent storm.

The American Red Cross and Big Y Supermarkets are teaming up to help those affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Now through Saturday, Nov. 17, Mansfield Big Y customers will have the opportunity to donate to American Red Cross Disaster Relief.

“The response to Sandy is likely to be the biggest Red Cross response in the U.S. in the past five years,” said American Red Cross spokesperson Paul Shipman in a prepared statement. "The Red Cross needs help now. We ask everyone to support us as we help people recover from this massive storm.”
