The restaurant will offer beef, turkey and veggie burgers, along with fresh baked buns, original and sweet potato fries and ice cream shakes. Kids meals – or “Little Moo Meals” – will also be on tap.

“The menu is simple and fulfills a desire for the great American staple – hamburgers and fries,” Rusconi said.

Both MOOYAH and Moe’s are expected to open later this year.

Howard Kaufman, Managing Member of LeylandAlliance LLC, said he appreciated Rusconi and Vorchheimer’s commitment to open two restaurants in the community.

“All indications are that they will be most successful in Storrs Center,” he said in a prepared statement.
