Insomnia Cookies is now open at 1 Dog Ln. at Storrs Center.
The shop offers fresh, oven-baked cookies - from sugar to double chocolate chunk to snickerdoodle - and delivers them to your door (within a 4-mile radius) up until 3 a.m.
Marketing Manager Renee Sarnecky, said the company is excited to bring its business to the community.
"Mansfield goes along with all of the qualities we look for...from the students to the residential life in the area," Sarnecky said, adding, "Storrs Center is a really exciting opportunity to be a part of."
In celebration of the company’s opening in Storrs, Insomnia Cookies will be serving up a free cookie to all customers who stop in and present their free cookie coupons - which can be found on the company's Facebook page - until Tuesday, Oct. 23, Sarnecky said.
