Storrs Center: A Focus on the Facade

An update for the week of June 3, 2012.

Construction

With a focus on storefronts, exterior and interior work on 1 Dog Ln. and 9 Dog Ln. continues.

Work on the interior of the parking garage is progressing.

Streetscape improvements are ongoing.

The Windham Region Transit District (WRTD) and in front of the Audrey P. Beck Municipal Building is still closed due to construction. []

MOOYAH, a restaurant “determined to deliver the best Burger & Fry experience EVER” is coming to .

ADHD is a real disorder but is way over-diagnosed. When a boy isn't engaged (bored, not challenged),…Read More he's slapped with a label. Sometimes drugs are appropriate, other times it could mean that he needs to move up a grade level or be stimulated in another way. But other times its just covering problems up. I'd like to know what other countries do that diagnose ADHD.

It’s the most perfect constant in the universe. Anyway, no, 17 years is not that long in the grand scheme of things, but this is not the 1950’s. And I don’t see why in this case it’s Bill Clinton’s values. He signed the law, but I fail to see how that effects the current discussion. It would seem to be the values of the country as whole that are changing.
