Three Restaurants Sign Leases to Open in Storrs Center

A new and well-known venues are set to make the move.

Three restaurants have signed leases to open businesses in Storrs Center:

  • ; and
  • Kebob Express, a Turkish eatery that will offer fresh foods with vegetarian and gluten-free options.

These businesses , , , and Insomnia Cookies in the move to Storrs Center.

“Almost all the spaces in the first phase of Storrs Center have been spoken for and space is filling quickly for the second phase which is expected to open in mid-2013," Howard Kaufman, Managing Member of LeylandAlliance LLC, the parent company of developer Storrs Center Alliance, said in a prepared statement.

"In this economy, this kind of leasing response is a true testament that Storrs Center will fulfill a real need for a main street neighborhood in Mansfield.  The opening of Storrs Center can’t come soon enough," Kaufman said.

Storrs Center is intended to be a mixed-use town center located adjacent to the .

When completed, the $220 million project would give Mansfield new retail, restaurant, office and residential development.
