Two More Tenants Sign Leases to Open in Storrs Center

A new and well-known venue are set to make the move.

Two more commercial tenants have signed leases to open businesses in Storrs Center.

Insomnia Cookies, a late-night bakery delivery service; and established Mansfield business Body Language, a tattoo and piercing shop, are scheduled to open in late 2012, according to a press release issued by Storrs Center Alliance.

These businesses join Dog Lane Café, Froyoworld, Moe's Southwest Grill, Select Physical Therapy and Storrs Automotive in the move to Storrs Center.

"Our goal from the beginning has been to create a mix of businesses that will serve residents and visitors of a variety of ages and interests," Macon Toledano, Vice President of Planning and Development for Leyland Alliance LLC, said in a prepared statement.

"These latest businesses to sign leases help meet that goal," he said.

Storrs Center is intended to be a mixed-use town center located adjacent to the University of Connecticut.

When completed, the $220 million project would give Mansfield new retail, restaurant, office and residential development.
