The is adding a new farm to its weekend lineup: Valley Farms.
Valley Farms, located at 500 Mansfield Ave., specializes in "Kobe-style" beef, taken from the farm's "domestically-raised Wagyu crossbred with Angus cattle," according to the farm's Web site.
"We're excited to welcome them to the Market and think our customers will be happy to be able to purchase beef from a Mansfield farming family!," Market Manager, Kathleen Paterson said.
Storrs Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 3-6 p.m., in the Mansfield Town Hall parking lot on Storrs Road.
