Do You Drive Without A Spare Tire? So, Why Ban Guns?

The 2nd Amendment is like a spare tire and is there for when the rest of the Constitution has broken down.

Here's a thought experiment for my gun grabbing collectivists friends.

Let's give you people what you want. Let's ban all guns and not stop there. Let's ban everything; rifles, semis, handguns, steak knives, hammers and bats.

Now, you need to think about what's next? Imagine time going by, a year or two or five or 10. Time goes by.

Now, imagine what this move, outlawing weapons, has made possible in the future.

Think people. Imagine.

All you've done is created a defenseless, docile, vulnerable, prone citizenry ripe for the picking for the next wanna-be dictator who comes along and he will come along, as the worst among us look for and can't miss such wide open opportunities like a large defenseless population.

You may love Obama, but what about when some guys in charge whom you don't like? What is your recourse if once he gets in power, he decides not to leave no matter what the elections dictate? What is your recourse at this point if things get worse?  When the rule of law breaks down, what are your options?

You have no options because you've democratically and voluntarily given them all up. Democracy needs checks and balances, and the 2nd Amendment is an ever important check and balance on OUR government.  The 2nd Amendment is like a spare tire and is there for when the rest of the Constitution has broken down.
