The has opened as an Emergency Shelter as of 10:30 a.m. Sunday, according to the facility's phone recording.
The shelter is providing a limited number of free meals, hot showers and access to electricity to charge cell phones and other electronic equipment.
If you plan to stay overnight, please remember to bring your own bedding materials.
Residents may also fill their potable water (drinking) containers at the shelter.

As of early Sunday afternoon, Town officials have been told by CL&P that it may take as long as two or more days before electricity is fully restored throughout Mansfield.
If your home or neighborhood is trapped by fallen trees and/or downed wire, call the Mansfield Fire Department at 860-429-5290.
Residents may fill their non-potable water (flushing toilets, etc.) containers at two locations:
- Station 207 (1722 Storrs Rd., near the intersection of Rt. 195/44)
- Station 307 (intersection of East Road and Rt. 195)
