Halloween Parties in Mansfield

Admission is free. Join in on the fun.

The Mansfield Downtown Partnership, Storrs Center master developer LeylandAlliance and the Mansfield Parks and Recreation Department are getting in the Halloween spirit with a seasonal celebration on Saturday, Oct. 27.

Children are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes and visit the shops at Storrs Center for trick-or-treating from 4-5 p.m. on Dog Lane.

Visitors may park in the Storrs Center parking garage on Royce Circle, and stop by the businesses at Storrs Center with their kids for fun Halloween treats.

Following trick-or-treating at Storrs Center, the Mansfield Community Center will kick off its annual Halloween Party and Trick-A-Trunk from 5-6:30 p.m. with games, crafts and prizes.

"I think it's a great opportunity to have a safe environment for kids and families to enjoy trick-or-treating," said Curt Vincente, director of parks and recreation.

Children are also invited to trick-or-treat in the center's blocked off parking lot for more candy and fun.

"We have a lot of fun," Vincente said. "It's a great community event."
