5 p.m. Update:
Rosie, a local horse reported missing Monday, has been found safe, according to her owner Lee Lippa.
"I found Rosie just a while ago and she is home and she is fine," Lippa said in an e-mail to Mansfield-Storrs Patch. "Thanks for all your help."
10:20 a.m. Original Story:
Mansfield resident Lee Lippa's horse Rosie has wandered off and now she's asking local residents to be on the lookout.
Lippa described Rosie as reddish-brown in color with a black mane. She does not have a halter on, Lippa said.
Rosie was last seen Sunday, July 15, in a pasture near Wormwood Hill Road.
"She's the sweetest thing," Lippa told Mansfield-Storrs Patch Monday. "She is very friendly" and "will do anything for a snack," she said.
If you see Rosie, please contact Lippa at 860-429-3041 or on her cell at 860-377-0348.
