If your still looking for a experience for your child, the Ivy Bound/Rising Stars still has openings in its weekday morning and weekday afternoon "camps." These are offered in the Mansfield-Storrs area every week from June 25 - Aug 31. Last summer's most popular camps were: Lego, Robotics, Speedy-Reading, Practical Math and Entrepreneurship 101.
Classes meet from 9 a.m. to noon and from 2-5 p.m. Classes range from $350 to $550 for the week. Students wanting both morning and afternoon classes in the same week can stay for a supervised lunch and "play" from 12-2 p.m. for an additional $100.
