Tolland County Ranks First in State for Health

The University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation named Tolland County the healthiest in Connecticut.

Tolland County has earned the distinction of being the healthiest county in the state of Connecticut, according to the rankings created by the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

The study examined smoking, obesity and drinking rates, access to clinical care, health insurance coverage and education levels among the county residents to create its list.
