Teach High School at the best time of day for teenagers to learn rather than at the worst possible time. My daughter's bus leaves our driveway at 6:15am, meaning she needs to ruse at 5:30am in order to eat a decent breakfast to catch it. Meanwhile there is less rhan 30 minutes of daylight for elementary kids to play outside in the fresh air after their bus arrives here. What is wong with our officials that they are blind to this illogic? I hear it is so our kids can participate in intramural sports. Are Sports are so almighty that we have to lower every student's level of learning to accomodate sports schedules? Are they really the prime goal of public education? Wouldn't it be better to schedule extra curriular sports practices for 7:25am and let regular learning start at 9:00am?

I forgot to mention that we live about 9 minutes away from the school.

Security guards in our schools immediately. More resources provided for our local Police.

I agree with both of the above comments. I think security guards in the schools is a necessity. I also have a problem with the taxes. Real Estate taxes are too high. Cut other expenses in order to afford guards in schools and lower R.E. taxes.

Compared to some surrounding towns, Mansfield taxes aren't that bad.

Wheelchair accessibility. Many of the brand new businesses are almost impossible to navigate / access...the post office has doors so narrow wheelchairs hit the frame...curb cuts are lacking, piled full of snow or have obstacles in the way...city sponsored events are inaccessible - festival on the green was in a huge parking lot yet vendors were placed up on the grassy island with no accessible access points
