Connecticut Children's Book Fair

Bestselling children’s authors/illustrators Tomie dePaola
and Steven Kellogg will be at this year’s Connecticut Children’s Book Fair. The
Connecticut Children’s Book Fair is one of the few remaining Book Fairs that is
free and open to the public. It is an opportunity to meet favorite authors and
illustrators and to discover new ones. There are books for all ages from the very
young children to teens.

The stellar line up of authors and illustrators includes: ,
Jonathan Bean, Aaron Becker, Nicholas Blechman, Elise Broach, Nick Bruel, P.W.
Catanese, Elisha Cooper, Diane DeGroat, Etienne Delessert, Tomie dePaola,
Elizabeth Eulberg, Robert Forbes, Robie Harris, Jeff Hirsch, Alaya Dawn
Johnson, David Johnson, Steven Kellogg, Jarrett Krosoczka, Michaela MacColl,
Rita Marshall, Ann Martin, Michael Northrop, Shelley Rotner, David Schwartz,
Phoebe Stone, Tui T. Sutherland, and Mark Teague.

Each will give a presentation and autograph copies of their
books. Scholastic is once again bringing the popular panel This Is Teen, A
Conversation to the Fair. Authors Jeff Hirsch, Alaya Dawn Johnson, Michael
Northrop and Elizabeth Eulberg will be participating in the panel discussion.

favorite, Clifford the Big Red Dog.

The Connecticut Children’s Book Fair is a project of the
UConn Co-op and the UConn Libraries to celebrate children (young and not so
young) and the books they read, and to benefit the Northeast Children’s
Literature Collection.
