Diane Ackerman/Aetna Celebration of Nonfiction

Diane Ackerman is the author of two dozen highly acclaimed works of nonfiction and poetry, including A Natural History of the Senses, The Zookeeper's Wife, and One Hundred Names for Love. Her honors include a Guggenheim Fellowship, the Orion Book Award, the John Burroughs Nature Award, the Lavan Poetry Prize, and has the honor as a Literary Lion by the New York Public Library. Co-sponsors: Creative Writing, the Aetna Chair of Writing, and the Vice President for Research.
