Little International Livestock Show (Little “I”)

Rain or shine, the University of Connecticut Department of Animal Science UConn Block and Bridle Club (oldest UConn club on campus) will once again host the Little International Livestock Show (Little "I").  Approximately 140+ UConn students, the majority who are animal science majors enrolled in the Introduction to Animal Science course this fall, will be showing horses, pigs, sheep, dairy cattle, beef cattle, and chickens at the Horsebarn Hill Arena and applying what they have learned from their class assignments.

There will also be a  4-H and FFA class this year for Poultry, Dairy, and Sheep. Anyone who wants to participate in those classes or wants to just come and watch is welcome. Signups for the 4-H and FFA classes will be the day of the show.

The event is open to the general public and there is no admission.  A program schedule will be posted at www.animalscience.uconn.edu prior to the event.
