Tolland County 4-H FAIR

Vernon- the Tolland County 4H fair is getting ready for a fun-filled weekend. The fair kicks off on Sunday August 4th with an Open Horse Show, then continues on Friday, August 9th through Sunday, August 11th. The fair is where 4-H members have an opportunity to share their projects with the public. The fairgrounds, which are located at the Tolland Agricultural Center, 24 Hyde Ave, Route 30 in Vernon, will be full of activities for everyone to enjoy!

4-H members have worked on these projects all year long. The project areas include everything from bunnies to tractors and photography to goats. There will be lots of entertainment for everyone as well including live bands, a presentation by Riverside Reptiles, a car show, karate demonstrations, Iris step dancing, storytelling, Clown at Work, Horizon Wings, tractor pulls, and more. And don’t forget everyone’s favorite, the Chicken BBQ on Saturday. Order your tickets fast – they sell out every year!

Please attend this year’s fair! It will be full of fun and you are sure to have a great time! For more information, please contact the Tolland County 4-H Fair Association at 860-875-3331 or visit us at www.tollandcounty4-hct.org. Hope to see you all at the fair!
