We are beyond pleased to announce that the Jeffrey P. Ossen Family Foundation has awarded $200,000 to Mansfield Advocates for Children to benefit the Playground. This support will make it possible for us to achieve our goal of creating a place for families with young children of all abilities to meet and build connections. We will also grow stronger as a community by working together, side by side, with neighbors, friends, and family, to build this playground. Our playground is part of an ongoing effort by Mansfield Advocates for Children to strengthen community connections and enhance the overall quality of life in Mansfield.
This support from the Ossen Family Foundation brings us closer to our fundraising goal, but we’re not there yet. We hope that this grant will inspire local businesses and individuals to support this project through donations, sponsoring components, making handprint tiles, attending events, and various other ways. Please consider making a donation TODAY to help us make it all the way to our goal. http://mansfieldcommunityplayground.org/donations.html
If you have ever thought about getting more involved in this project, now is the time. We need volunteers in many areas from volunteering to build to helping out an event to joining our steering committee. You, the community, are needed at every stage of this project, from design to completion, to make it a success. Contact us today if you’d like to get involved. Info@MansfieldCommunityPlayground.org
We are thrilled by the generosity of the Jeffery P. Ossen Family Foundation, and we are pleased to name the playground in honor of their generosity throughout our community. Upon completion, the playground will be named the Jeffrey P. Ossen Family Foundation Playground.
Thank you so much for your interest in and support of this project. We know that you’re just as excited as we are about this amazing news.
