July 28, 2011: Special Town Meeting

Here are five reasons you should get out and about town today.

1. Today will be mostly sunny with a high near 84, according to reports from the National Weather Service.

2. The Mansfield Town Council is holding a Special Meeting regarding the Storrs Center project at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Audrey P. Beck Municipal Building. See the full agenda, here.

3. The  is hosting a "" program at 6 p.m. The event is free, open to the public and is suitable for adults and teens.

4. You can head on over to the  for their 8:30 a.m.  Class. The session combines a variety of underwater exercises utilizing the deep and shallow ends of the pool. The class runs $59 - $64 for members and $79 - $86 for non-members.

5. You can stop by the  between the hours of 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for a jewelry-making session. During that time, be sure to check out the jewelry and knitting items for sale.
