October 18, 2011: Candidates Night, Octoberfest, Fitness

Here are five reasons to get out and about town today.

1. Today will be mostly cloudy with a high near 65, according to reports from the National Weather Service.

2. The League of Women Voters of Mansfield is sponsoring a Candidates Night featuring candidates running for  at 7 p.m. in 's Auditorium.

3. Members of the  will be attending  in Seymour. Attendees will enjoy an all-you-can-eat German buffet, unlimited beer and wine, German entertainment and dancing. The cost $75 per person.

4. Mansfield mom  talks about how "Life Has a Way of Helping You Out" in her weekly Mom's Column, Just Sayin'. Be sure to check it out, .

5. You can head on over to the  for their 8:30 a.m.  Class. The session combines a variety of underwater exercises utilizing the deep and shallow ends of the pool. The class runs $59 - $64 for members and $79 - $86 for non-members.
