Gov. Dannel P. Malloy has no disappointments and is very happy being governor of Connecticut, according to statements he made on WFSB’s “Face the State" program on Sunday.
Malloy also told the Sunday news show he’s accomplished a lot in his first 18 months in office, such as “nearly balancing the state budget, winning education reform and pushing legislation to permit Sunday liquor sales,” according to a report by The Associated Press.
Malloy was elected in 2010 by a small margin after beating Republican candidate Tom Foley. He’s the first Democrat to hold the office of governor in two decades.
