Main Street Willimantic paving will be completed on the night of October 1. Originally the work was supposed to be done by September 29.
Downtown Main Street Willimantic has been a washboard pavement affecting all drivers and vehicles for many years, but several side projects have caused the re-paving to be put off. Now that those are complete, the paving is scheduled.
Motorists should plan alternate routes for those all-night periods.
