Police: Coventry Woman Faces New Charges for Making Bomb Threat to Mansfield Bank

The warrant was served Monday in Rockville Superior Court.

Connecticut State Police charged a woman , including in Mansfield, with two counts of first-degree threatening and two counts of second-degree harassment Monday.

Nicolina McLean, 45, of Coventry was already in custody for three counts of first-degree threatening as a result of the incident, according to court records

State Police at Troop C said they received a call from the Mansfield branch of  on Sept. 23, stating they had a bomb threat.

Police later said McLean had made the calls in order to keep the banks closed after learning that her husband planned on going to the bank to deal with their money problems, according to the Associated Press

McLean was held in lieu of a $175,000 court set bond, according to a police report. She is scheduled to next appear in Rockville Superior Court on Monday, Nov. 21.
