East Brook Mall in Mansfield has been reopened Wednesday following an evacuation over a suspicious package, state police said.
Officials from Mansfield’s Resident State Trooper's Office and Troop C’s Criminal Investigation Unit responded to the mall shortly after 1 p.m. Wednesday for the report of a “suspicious package” located in the mall’s Subway Restaurant, police said.
Police deemed the package safe after evacuating the building and conducting a thorough investigation, police said.
The case remains under investigation.
