Speeding. Sooner or later every driver has done it. Whether you're late for class, trying to get to work on time or vying for the optimal parking spot on campus, chances are you've hovered over the speed limit.
With summer coming to a close and classes at the , Mansfield Public Schools and beginning at the end of the month, Storrs-Mansfield is about to see more students, drivers and pedestrians than it has in months.
"At the end of this month, the population in the Town of Mansfield nearly doubles," said Sgt. Richard Cournoyer of the Mansfield Resident State Trooper's Office.

With an increase of population, comes an increase of traffic, Cournoyer said, which brings about longer travel times in and around town.
"Plan your day 15-20 minutes ahead of schedule so you're not rushing which could ultimately cause an accident or serious injury," Cournoyer said. "Just be cautious."
Revealing Speeding Hot Spots
