Mansfield Man Arrested on Slew of Charges After Traffic Stop

Vernon Police took the Baxter Road man into custody Monday.

A Mansfield man is facing several charges after he was uncooperative during a traffic stop, police said. 

Vernon Police said that Joseph Treat, 31, of 80 A Baxter Road, provided authorities with a false name. When police did determine his real name, records showed outstanding warrants against him, according to an an arrest report. 

Police said charges related the the incident include: 

• Operating a motor vehicle under suspension.

• Interfering with police. 

• Operating a motor vehicle without a license. 

Bond: $500.
Court date: Oct. 25.

• Simple Trespass. 

Bond: $500.
Court date: Oct. 25. 

• Violation of probation.

Bond: $30,000.
Court date: Oct. 25.

Treat was arrested just after 5 p.m. on Monday, police said.
