A local man is being held on $1 million bond after he was arrested Wednesday at a Mansfield gas station on voyeurism and child pornography charges.
Jacob A. Harper, 30, of 103 Tuckie Rd., Windham, is charged with voyeurism with intent to arouse sexual desire, importing child pornography material and possessing child pornography, according to an arrest report.
Harper was taken into custody at 7:39 p.m. yesterday at the Mobil Xtra Mart, located at Route 32 and 195 in Mansfield, where he was an employee, according to an arrest report.
Connecticut State Police said their investigation revealed that Harper’s home computer, cell phone and an additional hard drive contained a total of 647 images and 181 videos of child pornography.
Police said a nine-year-old was the victim of voyeurism in the case, and “was not harmed in any way” according to a police report.
Harper was arraigned in Rockville Superior Court Thursday.
