Mansfield Police Blotter: Jan. 3-7

The following arrest information was supplied by Connecticut State Police Troop C. It does not indicate a conviction.



April Gineo, 26, of 38 Balaban Rd., Colchester, was arrested by Connecticut State Police on Sharon Drive and charged with second-degree harassment and threatening.


Charles H. Kearns, 49, of 47 Marybell Ln., was arrested by state police at Tolland County Civil Court and charged with breach of peace and second-degree threatening.


Burglary Arrest

Jose E. Bobe, 32, of 246 Roanoak Ave., Willimantic, was arrested by state police on Mansfield City Road and charged with third-degree burglary.

DUI Arrest

Michael Ciurylo, 22, of 244 Route 66, Columbia, was arrested by state police on Route 44 in Mansfield and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol and failure to have headlamps lit. 



Mansfield Resident State Troopers are investigating a burglary of a parked car located at Storrs Center on Dog Lane. According to a police report, one of the vehicle’s windows was smashed and “valuable items,” including a purse were taken from within. Police remind residents to secure personal property from plain sight. Anyone with information is asked to contact Troop C at 860-896-3222, ext. 8088.



Luis R. Rivera, 19, of 63 Stafford Rd., was arrested by state police at his residence and charged with risk of injury to a child, fourth-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.
