State police are investigating a residential burglary that occurred on Conantville Road. According to police, someone entered a residence and “several items of significant value” were stolen. Anyone with information is asked to contact Troop C at 860-896-3200, ext. 8088.

DUI Arrest
Alexander Albrecht, 21, of 26 Union St., Vernon, was arrested by Connecticut State Police on Storrs Road and charged with plate violation illegible and operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

State police are investigating a burglary complaint that occurred in the East Brook Mall parking lot. According to police, a vehicle’s driver’s side window had been smashed and a Garmin GPS and EZ-Pass were taken from the vehicle. There are no suspects at this time, according to police.
