Mansfield Women's Auxiliary Donates to Special Needs Fund
The auxiliary gave $1,000 to a heating fund.
The following information is provided by Richard Pellegrine:
The Eagleville Fire Department Women’s Auxiliary held a roast beef dinner last spring to raise funds for the Human Services Special Needs Fund of the Town of Mansfield.
At a recent meeting they voted to give $1,000 to the Special Fund designating it to be used for the Critical Heating Program that benefits families in the town who are having difficulty paying heating expenses.

It is hoped that as the cold weather approaches, more families will be able to pay their heating bills with the help of the Auxiliary and the members of the community who supported the dinner.
The Eagleville Women’s Auxiliary has been active in Mansfield since 1957. Our original goal was to provide needed monies for supplies and equipment to the Fire Services through many fundraising activities. Since the town now supports the fire services, the Auxiliary provides food and refreshments at fire and emergency calls that require long hours of service.
