The OMG PD Twist: On August 7, Connecticut State Police responded to a residence on Pine Ridge Lane to investigate the report of a burglary from a motor vehicle. According to a police report, a homeowner confronted the juvenile after the 17-year-old entered an unoccupied vehicle parked and stole items from within the car. Police responded to area, set up a perimeter, and with help from the State Police Canine Unit, located the juvenile a short time later in a wooded area off Conantville Road, according to police. According to a police report, the stolen property was recovered and the juvenile was arrested without incident.

The Case: Lawrence Small, 36, of 402 Hillside Ave. 3F, Hartford, was arrested by state police on Route 30 in Manchester and charged with reckless driving, motor vehicle license violations, possession of a controlled substance and a penalty for possessing less than one half ounce of marijuana.
The OMG PD Twist: On August 4, state police clocked the vehicle Small was driving on I-84 East at 90 mph, according to an arrest report. During the course of a traffic stop, police said the driver admitted to having "contraband within a pack of cigarettes." Following a search, Small was arrested. Bond was set at $10,000. A court date was not specified in an arrest report.
