OMG PD: Sept. 28-Oct. 4

A look at some remarkable police cases from Connecticut State Police Troop C Barracks.

The Case: Jeffrey Oller, 21, of 150 Noah Ln., Tolland, was arrested by Connecticut State Police on Charles Street in Tolland and charged with second-degree criminal mischief and breach of peace, according to a police report.

The OMG PD Twist: On Sept. 28, police said Oller became “enraged” when he was not welcomed at a residential gathering that he was not invited to. Police said Oller began “yelling and screaming” and then kicked in the front door of the residence causing damage. His bond was set at $1,000. Oller is scheduled to appear in Rockville Superior Court on Oct. 10.

The Case: Andrew White, 19, of 41 White Oak Rd., Somers, was arrested by state police on Field Road in Somers and charged with fifth-degree larceny and disorderly conduct, according to a police report.

The OMG PD Twist: On Sept. 29, police said White locked a man out of his own home after being allowed to use the bathroom and proceeded to steal $300 worth of jewelry from the residence. Police said White later returned the jewelry after being questioned because he was “feeling guilty for stealing from a friend," according to an arrest report. White is scheduled to next appear in court Oct. 29.

The Case: 17-year-old male juvenile has been charged with conspiracy to commit home invasion/armed robbery, conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit first-degree kidnapping, conspiracy to commit first-degree burglary and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny, according to a police report.

The OMG PD Twist:

Connecticut State Police made a sixth arrest Oct. 2 in connection with a home invasion at 14 Derek Rd. in Mansfield. A total of six men have now been arrested in connection with the Sept. 4 incident, where two victims were confronted by five masked men and tied up during a robbery, according to police. A handgun was used in the robbery, police said. The juvenile was held in lieu of a $750,000 court set bond. He was transported to Hartford Juvenile Detention in Hartford.
