Warrant Arrest

Connecticut State Police arrested Florian Masiar, 68, of 210 Bundy Hill Rd., Lisbon, on an active PRAWN warrant at Nachaug Hospital. Masiar was charged with failure to appear in the second degree.

State police are currently investigating the theft of a credit card from a Mansfield resident.

DUI Arrest

Christopher Bailey, 22, of 32 Matthew Rd., East Hartford, was arrested by University of Connecticut Police on North Hillside Road and charged with failure to drive right, following too close, operation while under the influence and traveling unreasonably fast.

Larceny Arrest

A 15-year-old juvenile was arrested by state police at Kohl’s on Route 195 and charged with simple trespass and sixth-degree larceny.

DUI Arrest

Taijah Marshae Abell, 21, of 92 East Rd., was arrested by campus police on Celeron Square Drive and charged with failure to obey a stop sign, failure to drive right and operation while under the influence.

Zachary Gerald Walsh, 19, of 101 South Eagleville Rd., was arrested by campus police on North Hillside Road and charged with failure to drive right, operation without carrying a license and operation while under the influence.

Warrant Arrests

Christopher Anthony Bove, 21, of 8 Yale Rd., and Michael Josephy Cody Matosian, 21, of 302 Hough Hall/Charter Oak Apartments, turned themselves in to state police at Troop C on an active arrest warrant. Bove was charged with breach of peace and third-degree assault. Matosian was charged with breach of peace.

A 15-year-old juvenile was arrested by state police on Storrs Road and charged with third-degree burglary, sixth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit burglary and conspiracy to commit larceny.

Alexander Taylor, 19, of 50 Glenbrook Rd., Trumbull, was arrested by state police on Hunting Lodge Road and charged with operating while under the influence and operation of a motor vehicle by a minor with an elevated blood alcohol content.

Weapons Arrest

John Scott Dewart, 18, of 270 Root Rd., was arrested by campus police on North Eagleville Road and charged with possession of alcohol by a minor and weapons in a motor vehicle.

Nicholas William Hynd, 18, of 56 Regent Ct., Stamford, was arrested by campus police on Hunting Lodge Road and charged with second-degree breach of peace.

Benjamin James Valinsky, 19, of 6 Watrous Farm Rd., Wallingford, was arrested by campus police on Hunting Lodge Road and charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace.

Okechukwu C. Gubor, 22, of 170 Springhill Rd., was arrested by campus police on Storrs Road and charged with improper passing, operation with a suspended license and operation while under the influence.

Engingro, 21, of 1 Franklin Way, Guilford, was arrested by University of Connecticut Police and charged with failure to drive in proper lane, failure to obey a stop sign, failure to drive right, interfering with an officer, operation while under the influence and traveling unreasonably fast.

Antonella Bonesse, 24 of 473 Windham Rd., Willimantic was arrested at 95 Storrs Rd. by state police and charged with credit card theft, three counts of illegal use of credit cards and three counts of sixth-degree larceny.
