Report

Connecticut State Police were dispatched to in Mansfield to investigate a robbery/larceny/assault complaint. Police said the complainant claimed that he was assaulted be a female and almost run over by a car in the parking lot by the female’s accomplice. Two suspects were developed, according to a police report. The incident is still under investigation.

DUI Arrest

Jamieson Paul Maurer, 22, of 36 Ardmore Rd., West Hartford, was arrested by Police on North Eagleville Rd. and charged with failure to drive right, operating/towing an unregistered motor vehicle, operating a vehicle while under the influence of drugs or alcohol and traveling at an unreasonable speed.

Arrest

Robert Tyler Cardin, 19, of 56 Balsam Landing Rd., Glastonbury, was arrested by campus police at Buckley Dormitory and charged with third-degree criminal mischief.

Larceny Arrest

A juvenile was arrested by state police at Kohl’s Department Store in Mansfield and charged with sixth-degree larceny.

Charles E. Mitchell, 47, of 216 Foster Dr., was arrested by state police at his residence and charged with disorderly conduct.

Arrest

Jaime Alers, 24, of 72 Boston Post Rd., Willimantic, was arrested by state police on Route 32 in Mansfield and charged with operating without a license and traveling too fast for conditions.

, 57, of 236 Varga Rd., Ashford, was arrested by campus police on Cushman Road in Ashford and charged with criminal attempt/aggravated sex assault in the first degree, criminal attempt/kidnapping in the first degree with a firearm, second-degree threatening, weapons in a motor vehicle and second-degree breach of peace.

DUI Arrest

Jonathan Arthur Custardo, 22, of 1 French Farm Rd., Norwalk, was arrested by campus police on Hunting Lodge Road and charged with failure to drive right, operating a vehicle while under the influence of drugs or alcohol and traveling at an unsafe speed.

DUI Arrest

Nathan Ario Ross, 21, of 604 Browns Rd. was arrested by campus police on Stadium Road and charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence of drugs or alcohol and a stop sign violation.
